What Is Access Bars Therapy? A Gentle Reset for a Busy Mind

Updated: Oct 16
If your mind feels crowded — too many thoughts, too many open tabs, a low hum of stress that never quite switches off — Access Bars may be one of the gentlest ways to find some quiet.
It's one of the most requested sessions at my studio in The Lakes, Dubai, and also one of the hardest to describe until you've felt it. So here's what it actually is, what it's used for, and what to expect.
What is Access Bars?
Access Bars is a gentle, hands-on process that works with 32 points on the head. By lightly touching these points, we help release the mental clutter, limiting beliefs and stored stress that build up over years of thinking, worrying and holding it all together.
The technique follows the pure Gary Douglas protocol — the founder of Access Consciousness. There's nothing forceful about it. You simply lie down, fully clothed, and rest while the points are gently held. Many people drift somewhere between waking and sleep.

What is Access Bars therapy used for?
Access Bars therapy is used for quietening mental clutter, easing stress and supporting clearer thinking, through gentle touch on 32 points of the head.
An overactive mind that won't slow down
Stress, overwhelm and mental fatigue
Feeling stuck in the same thoughts or patterns
Difficulty switching off, resting, or sleeping deeply
A sense of carrying too much, for too long
After a session, people often describe feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, and more open — as though some background noise has finally gone quiet.
What to expect from a session
An Access Bars session with me runs about 90 minutes. You stay fully clothed and lie comfortably while I gently work with the points on your head. There's nothing you need to do except rest. Some people feel a deep calm; others feel a gentle release; many simply fall into the kind of stillness that's hard to find in daily life.
Because Access Bars is a hands-on modality, sessions are held in person only, at my private studio in The Lakes, Emirates Living.
A quiet space to let go
My studio is private and confidential — no waiting rooms, no shared spaces, no records shared. Just a calm space where you can arrive as you are and let the day fall away.
If your mind has been busy for a long time, Access Bars is a simple, gentle place to start.
